Dr. Parsa Mirhaji
Founder
Dr. Parsa Mirhaji, MD. PhD is the founder, creator and inventor behind Coghome. In addition he is:
- Professor of Systems and Computational Biology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine
- Director of the Center for Health Data Innovations (CHDI) at the Einstein/Montefiore
- CTO of the NY Clinical Data Research Network (NY-CDRN)
Dr. Mirhaji’s life work has been to create a system that bridges the chasm of a million analytic solutions in healthcare. Cognome is the vehicle that we’ve created to bring his vision to life.
Fun Facts
- Dr. Mirhaji was born in Iran and was the first person to bring an internet connection to the country before escaping as the regime changed.
- Dr. Mirhaji built Iran’s first EHR over 25 years ago and it is still in use today.
James Green
CEO
James is passionate about bringing meaningful change to the world. When he first discovered what Dr. Mirhaji had built he jumped at the opportunity to bring Cognome to life. In addition to being CEO of Cognome, he’s also a co-founder and a board member of Open Squash a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose mission is to make the sport of squash more accessible.
Fun Facts
- At Magnetic (which James ran from 2011→2017) he grew revenue from $1 to $100 million before it was sold to Deloitte.
- He ran PVI which is now owned by ESPN and is the technology used to show the first down lines in (American) football.
- James was CEO of the World Series of Video Games, one of the pioneers of e-sports.
- He got his entrepreneurial inspiration from Steve Jobs whom we worked for at Pixar Animation Studios where he ran marketing and new business development for Steve.
- James is happily married with two children despite having made his family live on a boat for a year while they sailed around the world (2010-11).
- James started his career as a musician and graduated from McGill University with a B. Music – ‘cello
- James also holds an MBA from the Anderson school @ UCLA.
Christos Kritikos
VP of Product
As Cognome’s product leader, Christos brings 18 years of experience building and scaling products and product organizations in a startup environment. His education includes a M.S. in Computer Science (UCLA, Fulbright Scholar) and certifications in Design Thinking, Product Management, Brand Management and Product Marketing.
In addition to his in-house leadership roles, Christos collaborates with organizations such as the US SBDC, SeedStars, Cornell Tech and Starta VC, where he has mentored over 100 founders on their product & growth challenges. He has a passion for the convergence of technology and humanity, and loves to work on impactful products that tackle big problems.

- Originally from Greece, Christos has lived in 11 cities across 5 countries, and is very particular about dark chocolate!
Sripriya Ramanathan
Head of Finance
Sripriya got her start, as an Auditor with PWC, Deloitte and then E&Y. WIth that strong background she branched out on her own to build her own outsourced CFO business (Aconter) which is where she met Cognome. Sripriya runs both finance and HR for Cognome and is based in India where she helped set up and maintains Cognome’s wholly owned Indian subsidiary.

- As an expert in offshore finance she has been forced to spend time on remote Caribbean islands for work. #PaidVacation

Vikas is a health tech “lifer” having launched and scaled three businesses over the last 20+ years focused on digital health and healthcare cybersecurity solutions. He seeks out large scale problems then builds businesses capable of impacting an entire industry. Diven to transform our healthcare delivery system through innovation and empowering technologies, currently he serves as an executive, C-Suite advisor and consultant to health systems, digital health startups, growth-stage companies and nonprofits. The focus of his work is to develop and execute commercialization strategies to enable market share growth.

- Vikas is an avid home chef and admirer of French and Spanish cooking techniques.
- His favorite pastime is playing drums with his best friends from college in a band they virtually re-formed during the pandemic.
- Vikas lives in NJ just outside of Philadelphia with his wife and two children.
Dr. Kennedy Ganti MD, FAAFP, FHEL
Senior Medical Informatics Advisor
Dr. Kennedy Ganti is a board-certified family physician and clinical informatician who is the Regional VP of Health Informatics - Southern Region at RWJBarnabas Health, New Jersey’s largest academic health system. Dr. Ganti was the inaugural Chair of the Health Information Technology Commission that synchronized with the federal Meaningful Use in New Jersey to set up the New Jersey Health Information Network (NJHIN). Dr. Ganti is also Chair of the Advisory Committee of OneHealth New Jersey, the only health information exchange directed by physicians from the Medical Society of New Jersey, the oldest medical society in the United States. Dr. Ganti is a Past President of the Medical Society of New Jersey and New Jersey Health Information Management Systems Society. Dr. Ganti is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and Healthcare Executive Leadership Academy from Seton Hall University.

Chandra has Nelapatla
Head of Engineering
Chandra holds undergraduate degree in Computer Scince from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological UniversityJawaharlal Nehru Technological University
Bachelor's degree, a Masters in Computer Science from University of Nebraska, Lincoln and an MBA from the Quantic school of Business & Technology. He has extensive knowledge and expertise of EPIC systems and architecture and has undergone multiple EPIC trainings. Chandra has built sophisticated interfaces and pipelines to and from EPIC systems for development of the Epic link to the genomic data visualization tool and building other necessary EMR/EPIC related infrastructure. Chandra also has extensive experience building and managing offshore technology teams. Chandra was and is instrumental in the identifying, hiring and managing of Cognome's technical staff in India.
